The festival’s namesake ostrich races are a captivating and unpredictable display. Professional riders take the reins of a chariot or ride the large birds bareback around a stadium race track. This year’s races will also include camels, zebras and emus. There will be two races on Friday and three on Saturday and Sunday, totaling eight races.
Pig-Races
+Pig Pen
Racing pigs dash down the race track to the finish line decked out in numbered racing attire. This exciting display is perfect for all audience members and incites roaring laughter and cheering for the animals.
Camel-Rides
+Camel & Pony Rides
A festival classic, Small ponies and camel rides will be offered to patrons for a nominal fee.

Another festival classic, this world class petting zoo will feature animals, both exotic and domestic, for a free, educational display for all ages.

The Rhinestone Roper has been entertaining and thrilling audiences all over the nation with his award winning trick roping, bull whip cracking, knife throwing, gun spinning and quick draw shooting Wild Wild West Show. Of course, no one can resist the magical charm of Lucky Joe the Trick Horse.
Mango-and-Dango-Clowns

Mango and Dango perform a one-of-a-kind theatrical circus show.  Their training includes partner acrobatics, juggling, aerial arts, stilt walking, physical comedy, mime, chair stacking and more.  They specialize in both stage and street shows and provide a variety of entertainment and cirque style performances that engage spectators of all ages.

Wild Science and Mindworks combines in an amazing 7,000 square foot attraction featuring a collection of hands-on science activities, puzzles and brain teasers, giant classic games and more all designed to tease and challenge the minds of all ages.
Members of the Flying Fools High Dive Show (right and inset) will execute airborne manoeuvres for Red River Ex crowds.
+High Dive Show
Milord Entertainment has been producing high dive shows all over the world for more than two decades.  This portable show contains a pool that is 26 feet in diameter and the highest dive is at 80 feet.

i-Flip is the ultimate aerial show. This incredible 25 minute show contains: Aerial Bungee, Tramp-Wall, Sphere, Power Track and more. To conclude this spectacular show, a 60 foot death-defying High Fall into a stuntman airbag.

This show is amazing and adorable entertainment. Watch as man’s best friend displays their agility and intelligence with phenomenal Frisbee tricks
McCroskey-House
+McCroskey House
Built in 1917, this historic farm bungalow landmark in Tumbleweed park operates as a representation of home and lifestyles that existed in Chandler nearly 100 years ago. The house will be open to guided tours during the Ostrich Festival.

+Arcy – Street Artist
Known for his paint splashed style of large scale mural art, Ryan ‘ARCY’ Christenson has been defining his skills for over a decade. In 2015, ARCY announced his North American live event mural tour, where he took his skills on the road, painting 8’ x 12’ specifically formulated event walls in front of thousands of onlookers in many of the largest cities across the nation. ARCY has worked for the likes of The Smithsonian Institute, America’s National Parks Service, and the Walt Disney Hometown Museum. As he travels the globe, ARCY continues to demonstrate his growing desire to leave his mark wherever he goes.

Drone Zone is an interactive exhibit where the young and old alike can enjoy the thrill of quadcopter flight in an environment that is enclosed, safe , and loads of fin. Guest begin their experience with flight simulators where they’ll get some hands-on practice with the controls. From there, they’ll enjoy free style and exciting flight challenges.
