Blues Traveler is an American rock band that spans a variety of genres including blues rock, psychedelic rock, folk rock, soul and Southern rock. The group is comprised of singer and harmonica player John Popper, guitarist Chan Kinchla, drummer Brendan Hill, bassist Tad Kinchla, and keyboardist Ben Wilson. Originally a high school garage band, the group gained mainstream popularity after their fourth studio album, four, which featured Grammy Award-winning hit, “Run Around.” Blues Traveler later became the opening act for The Rolling Stones and performed at Woodstock and on Saturday Night Live. They are best known for their hits “Hook,” “But Anyway” and “The Mountains Win Again” to name a few.
