Where is the Ostrich Festival located?

What are the dates of the Ostrich Festival?

The 32nd Annual Ostrich Festival has been rescheduled to March 2021 at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler, Arizona. Official dates will be announced soon!

What are the admission prices?
o Adult $15 ($20 onsite with entry after 2PM on Saturday and Sunday)

o Child (4-12): $8

o Senior (55+): $8

o Under 4: FREE

o Adult VIP: $65-Friday, $65-Saturday, $50-Sunday (includes VIP tent access, front of stage viewing area, 1 meal and 3 drinks)

o Child VIP (4-12): $30 (includes VIP tent access, front of stage viewing area, 1 meal and 3 drinks)

What health measures is the Ostrich Festival taking?

The Ostrich Festival takes the increasing health concerns seriously and is carefully following the guidelines set in place by the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Ostrich Festival has set up increased hand-washing and hand-sanitizing stations throughout the festival grounds.

  • We encourage attendees to stay home if you are feeling sick
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw that tissue in the trash
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, If soap and water is not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Clean frequently touched surface and objects daily
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

Is parking available?
Yes, official Ostrich Festival parking is available at Tumbleweed Park and can be accessed off Hamilton Rd or McQueen Road and Celebration. Parking is $5 per vehicle or $3 per motorcycle. Cash or credit is accepted.
Are tickets refundable?
Ticket purchases are final and are non-refundable. The Ostrich Festival is rain or shine.

All sales are final. All tickets are purchased at risk of inclement weather. Management is not responsible for articles lost, misplaced, or stolen at the event for which this ticket grants admission. Time, date, and location of event are subject to change. This ticket will not be replaced, refunded or exchanged for any reason. Shipping, handling, and service charges are non-refundable, even if the event is cancelled.

Are there any prohibited items?
The following items are prohibited from the Ostrich Festival:

Outside food and drinks with the exception of 1 factory sealed water bottle per person and medical or infant needs.
Drugs and narcotics (prescription medication exception).
Bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12”. Diaper bags will be permitted with the entrance of a child.
Fireworks
Glass
Coolers and hard containers
Pets except for service animals
Video cameras and cameras longer than 12 inches (includes body, lens & filter)
No radios, televisions or other electronic noise producing items
Unmanned Aircraft Systems & Radio
Controlled Model Aircraft/Drones. (Strictly prohibited on park property)
Skates, skateboards, skate-shoes, all cycles, hover-boards and Segways.
Weapons of any kind are prohibited including but not limited to firearms or knives.
Gang paraphernalia including but not limited to symbols, emblems, insignia, bandanas, colors or other gang identifiers.
Any other items deemed unlawful or dangerous by event organizers or security officials.
*All Individuals and bags are subject to search.

Are there any safety measures for children?
Child safety check-in booths are located near each entrance. Children will receive a wristband with their parents phone numbers. Should they be separated from their parents, children will be taken to the Child Safety Pick-up located near the first aid tent.
What is a Fast pass?
The Fast Pass Includes expedited entry to nearly all carnival rides in the Butler Amusements carnival midway.
Where is the handicap accessible parking?
Handicap accessible parking is located on both the east and west sides of the festival, which can be accessed from the Hamilton and Germann entrance as well as off Celebration and McQueen. Designated lots are annotated on the map. Parking is $5 per vehicle and cash or credit is accepted.
Are rides free?
Ride tickets and unlimited ride wristbands can be purchased for an additional fee at the festival.

Ride tickets can be purchased at the festival for $1 each, 25 tickets for $23, and 80 tickets for $70.

Unlimited Ride Wristbands will be available for purchase at Valley Bashas and Food City locations for $27, or for $30 at the festival.

Where are nursing mothers allowed to breastfeed?
The Ostrich Festival is family friendly and encourages mothers to breastfeed anywhere on our property they feel comfortable.
Where can pedestrians be dropped off/picked up at the festival?
Drop off and pick up must be done on the East entrance off of McQueen near parking lot #1. This includes Uber and Lyft pick-ups and drop offs.
Are lawn chairs allowed into the festival?
Yes, lawn chairs are allowed. The festival does not provide lockers or storage for any personal property brought into the event.
Can I bring outside food/drink to the festival?
Outside food and drink is prohibited with the exception of 1 factory sealed water bottle per person as well as any medical or infant needs.
Can I bring a purse or bag into the festival?
Yes, however, bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12” will not be allowed on festival grounds. Diaper bags will be permitted with the entrance of a child.
Are cameras, drones and GoPros allowed?
Professional photo and video equipment of any kind is not allowed on festival grounds. This includes but is not limited to professional photo and video cameras, drones, GoPros, etc.
