Cashless Event
The 32nd Annual Ostrich Festival is a cashless event. You will be presented a wristband upon entry that must be used at all vendors, bars and beer trucks for purchases. Visit ostrich.bz to activate your wristband or scan a QR code at the event.
We highly recommend linking you credit card to your wristband account. Cash can be loaded onto it at a wristband reload tent but is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Clear Bag Policy
To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite your entry, we have implemented a CLEAR BAG policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the festival. All bags including purses, backpacks, fanny packs and tote bags MUST be clear. Bags (Clear) can not exceed 22” x 14” x 9”.
Diaper bags will be permitted upon inspection.

If you are planning buying tickets on-site, please visit a BOX OFFICE to purchase tickets BEFORE going to the gate. If you pre-purchased tickets (Bashas, Groupon, Online) Visit a wristband redemption tent to exchange your ticket for a festival admission wristband.

The Festival
The Ostrich Festival is part of Chandler’s recent history, but it is based on the colorful early history of ostrich ranching, which included raising these unusual creatures within the city limits. Check out some highlights of the festival that’s dedicated to the culture and nostalgia of these ostriches.
